Four times a year members and friends of St. Peter’s host lunch at Christine’s Kitchen at Holy Trinity Church, West Orange. Our hosting days this year are February 14, May 16, July 11 and October 24.
We provide a hot, nourishing meal for 75-100 guests, as well as warm smiles and friendly faces. A typical hosting day runs from 10am to 2pm, with transportation of food and set-up from 10am to noon, food service from noon to 1pm and clean-up afterwards. We welcome all ages to help serve – there is something for everyone to do. All who have helped serve find that they receive more than they have given.
Help is not only needed to serve that day, but all of the food is home-made or freshly bought, and cooks and shoppers are always appreciated. St. Peter’s has a deep-freeze, so main dish donations can be made at any time.
